FGA Online Bidding Rules

 

      1. To bid on our property, you must be of legal age to enter into contract to purchase real estate (18 in most states, 21 in others). If you're in doubt about the legal age to enter into contract in your state, please consult with competent legal counsel before bidding.
      2. Winning bid is either subject to seller confirmation or absolute.  Please consult each property for details.
      3. Real Estate Brokers cooperation of 1% to 3% is available; please contact the selling agent for details.
      4. All bids are placed in US Dollars.
      5. If you are outbid by another bidder, you will receive an email notice so you can return and increase your bid if you so desire.
      6. The bidding will be open and everyone will have access to the bid history during the auction.
      7. As the auction nears the ending time it will auto-extend until bidding is silent for 1 minute.
      8. If there is more than one high bid at the same level (a tying bid), the bid first submitted will be honored.
      9. The high bidder will be notified via email after the auction ends.
      10. Seller reserves the right to postpone or cancel this auction at any time for any reason.
      11. Sale are “as-is”, "where-is". Seller will not fix anything.
      12. Within 1 day of auction close, winning bidder will be asked to sign a sales contract at the winning bid amount based on the terms described here.
      13. Closing will take place at seller's and winning bidders agreed upon Title Company within 30 days of signing the contract with prior arrangements closings may take place at Attorney Lauren Kohl's office in Sarasota County, Florida.
      14. All bidders can give a credit card for registration. Bidders may also give a check or cash/cashiers check to be held for escrow in order to bid. After the auction, the high bidder winning bidder will give another deposit so that a total deposit held in escrow will equal 10% of the bid price and this will be maintained by the escrow agent and will be credited to the buyer at closing.
      15. A buyer's premium, in the amount of 10% will be added to the high bid to for the final bid price.
      16. Terms: High bidder & back up bidder will be signing contracts & making a deposit in the amount of $2,000.  An additional deposit is due within 7 days to make the total deposit 10%.
